BENDIGO CHINESE ASSOCIATION
The Bendigo Chinese Association has unofficially been around since the Chinese arrived in Bendigo during the gold rush of the 1850s with around 4,000 Chinese on the Bendigo Goldfields.
The Bendigo Chinese community have had a long and proud history in Bendigo, through its charity works for Bendigo Health, to participating in the Bendigo Easter Festival.
The Bendigo Chinese Association performing teams - Lion, Dragon and Plum Blossom Dancing team actively perform and promote chinese culture throughout Australia.
